 Welcome to SciberBrain
SciberBrain is an event for year 9 or 10 pupils which addresses controversial issues with a scientific component.
SciberBrain can be run by teachers using our FREE resources and teachers' guide, or, for a limited time only, we will come to your school and run the sessions for you!
Sciberbrain is designed to be flexible and can be done as a 3 hour event or over 3-4 lessons. Alternatively, you could just add the resources to your existing scheme of work.
The topic for 2008 is Embryonic Stem Cell Research (we will be offering additional topics in 2009 – watch this space).
To run the event, you will need
- A class of year 9 or 10 pupils (max 36)
- A computer suite
- 3 hours
- A data projector
- Space for group work (with movable tables)
